Target price & selling fees

Maximum Cost means Landed + Margin. Landed = Materials + Duty + Freight.
Commission and advertising are percentages of your target retail.

Shipping & fulfillment

UPS and FedEx average all zones (2–8). WFS includes fulfillment, estimated inbound, and one month of storage. ITS applies only to eligible items; larger supported items use direct inbound based on Zone 6.

How maximum cost is calculated

Maximum Cost = Target retail × (1 − Commission % − Advertising %) − Shipping & Fulfillment

Cost means Landed + Margin; the result includes the margin already built into leadership's cost. No extra margin is added. Maximum Cost is rounded down to the nearest cent. A negative result means shipping and selling fees already exceed the target retail, even with a $0 item cost.

Uses the exact target retail entered; vanity rounding is not applied. Commission and advertising use the target retail. WFS's $1 low-price fulfillment fee is included when the target is below $10.

UPS and FedEx use published residential rates equally averaged across zones 2–8. WFS includes fulfillment, 30-day storage, and estimated inbound: ITS plus 25% UPS shipping to the planning facility when eligible; otherwise no ITS and 25% of three commercial Zone 6 quotes. Inbound is a planning allowance, not a pallet freight quote.

Use final parcel packaging for UPS/FedEx and the item's own packaging for WFS; recalculate if these differ. Other expenses such as taxes, returns, and overhead are not added. Do not count inbound freight twice if it is already included in leadership's Cost.
